What happens when the business case for Contingent Workforce Management stops being about savings?
In this video, I share an example where we started by looking at a significant area of workforce spend. Initially, the conversation was about money — visibility, cost and potential savings. But as we looked deeper, the conversation changed. We uncovered risks around:
• Intellectual Property
•Worker onboarding and offboarding
• Health & Safety
• Legislative and regulatory compliance
• Engagement practices
• And even potential fraud
Suddenly, the biggest question wasn’t: *“How much can we save?”
* It became: *“How do we make sure our external workforce is being engaged safely, compliantly and appropriately?”
* Savings remained important. But good Workforce Management became about something bigger — protecting the organisation, its people and its external reputation. Sometimes the strongest business case isn’t the money you can save.
*It’s the risk you now know you have.
